Nursery Practitioner (supply)
About This Role
We are currently recruiting Qualified and Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join us here at Manaba to work in a selection of private day nurseries across Alton, Hampshire.
The great thing about temporary supply work is that you can work as little as 4 hours per week, up to 45 hours depending on your availability! Using the Manaba App you can manage your own diary to show which days and hours you can work - and we offer you shifts suited to this.
We currently pay £14ph for Unqualified and £15ph for Qualified Nursery Practitioners.
Responsibilities in the role of Supply Nursery Practitioner:
You will possess a good understanding of child development and supporting children in achieving their developmental milestones through a "learning through play" approach
Qualified nursery nurses will have a thorough understanding of the EYFS
Prioritising safeguarding, and contributing towards a positive culture of equality
We can offer work with your preferred age ranges in a variety of day nurseries and pre-schools in the local area
We would love to hear from applicants who can offer both full and part time working hours as hours will vary between 7.30am-6.00pm.
Requirements:
Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
DBS Enhanced Disclosure that is on the Update Service, or you must be willing to apply for a new one
At least 6 months of experience working professionally with children, and references for such
At least two employment and/or academic references
You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
Having the ability to engage all children
