Early Years Assistant (Permanent)

Manaba are currently working with a wonderful nursery setting near in Godalming who are looking to appoint qualified Nursery Practitioners to join their team. You will join a supportive team to play a key part in the growth and development of the lovely children who attend the setting. The setting offers full day care, all year round for children aged 0-5 years across 3 rooms.

Position: Nursery Practitioner (Qualified)

Location: Godalming, Surrey

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent / Temp to Perm

Hours: Minimum of 30 hours a week, between 8.00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, all year round

Responsibilities for the role of Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children

• Implement In the Moment Planning (ITMP) to support children's individual interests

• Facilitate both adult and child-initiated play to enhance learning experiences

• Collaborate with parents to establish children's starting points and track progress

• Someone who always leads by example with a positive and flexible approach

• Focus on small groups of children weekly to identify learning needs and next steps

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 2 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of early childhood education

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure

• At least two employment and/or academic references will be required

• You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills
