Position: Baby Room Leader (Qualified)

Location: Godalming, Surrey

Salary: £15.00-£16.19 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: 38 hours a week over 4 days - 8.00am - 6:00pm (all year round)

Manaba are currently working with a wonderful nursery setting near in Godalming who are looking to appoint a qualified Baby Room Leader to join their team. The setting offers full day care, all year round for children aged 0-5 years across 3 rooms.

The nursery need someone who can work 38 hours a week between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday. You will join a supportive team to play a key part in the growth and development of the lovely children who attend the setting.

Responsibilities for the role of Nursery Practitioner:

• Managing a team of 4 staff, you will have at least one years experience of working in a leadership role within a childcare setting

• You will have a sound understanding of the EYFS as well as the understanding of child development and of children’s needs

• Always willing to pop on your coat and accessories to get outdoors and have fun while the children learn

• Confident in completing observations and carrying out planning for your key children

• Work as part of a team – contributing to the success of the nursery

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure

• At least two employment and/or academic references will be required

• You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills
