Nursery Practitioner (Part Time Hours)
About This Role
We are currently recruiting Nursery Nurses to join us here at Manaba to work in a selection of day nurseries in Portsmouth, and surrounding areas such a Waterlooville & Fareham.
Applicants must have previous experience working in similar settings for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities in the role of Temporary Nursery Practitioners:
You will possess a good understanding of child development
Support children in achieving their developmental milestones through a "learning through play" approach
Qualified nursery nurses will have a thorough understanding of the EYFS
Prioritising safeguarding, and contributing towards a positive culture of equality
We can offer work with your preferred age ranges in a variety of day nurseries and pre-schools in the local area
We would love to hear from applicants who can offer both full and part time working hours as hours will vary between 7.30am-6.00pm.
Requirements:
Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
DBS Enhanced Disclosure that is on the Update Service, or you must be willing to apply for a new one
At least two employment and/or academic references
At least 6 months experience working with children aged 0-5
You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
Having the ability to engage all children
