Early Years Practitioner

About the role of Nursery Practitioner (temporary supply)

We are looking for both Qualified and Unqualified, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners who are enthusiastic and hard working to join our temporary supply team to support in a variety of nursery settings in Winchester and other nearby areas in Hampshire.

You can work as little as 4 hours per week, up to 45 hours! The beauty of temporary supply work is that it can fit around you and because you manage your availability via our online App, you can choose the days and hours that you want to work.

Applicants must have at least 6 months experience of working with and supporting children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities:

• You will possess a good understanding of child development and supporting children in achieving their developmental milestones through a "learning through play" approach

• Qualified practitioners will have a thorough understanding of the EYFS

• Prioritising safeguarding, and contributing towards a positive culture of equality

• We can offer work with your preferred age ranges in a variety of day nurseries and pre-schools in the local area

• We would love to hear from applicants who can offer both full and part time working hours as hours will vary between 8am-6pm.

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure that is on the Update Service, or you must be willing to apply for a new one

• At least two employment and/or academic references will be required

• You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Having the ability to engage all children
