Early Years Assistant (perm)

Manaba are currently working with a wonderful nursery setting near to Rownhams in Hampshire who are looking to appoint a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their team. The setting offers full day care, all year round for children aged 0-5 years, as well as a wrap around service including a breakfast and after school club.

Position: Nursery Practitioner (Qualified)

Location: Rownhams, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Varied between 7.30am - 6:00pm for 30 Hours a week (no term time only options available)

The nursery need someone who can work 30 hours a week between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday. You must also be available to work either the early shift or late shift as part of your working rota. You will join a supportive team to play a key part in the growth and development of the lovely children who attend the setting.

Responsibilities:

• You will possess a thorough understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum and will support children in achieving their developmental milestones through a "learning through play" approach

• Be a calm and encouraging member of the team

• Someone who always leads by example with a positive and flexible approach

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 2 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure

• At least two relevant employment and/or academic references will be required

• You will be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Transport is essential due to the location of the setting, unless you live in a nearby surrounding village and can commute via public transport
