We are looking for teachers to join our growing supply team to work in Hampshire schools!
We offer a wide range of bookings from short and long-term supply to permanent and fixed term contracts. Both part time and full time positions are available!
Client Description:
We are working with some lovely primary schools in Havant and Hayling Island who use Manaba for ad-hoc supply teaching, as well as cover for longer term absence.
We welcome applicants who can offer full time or part time
Hampshire has some of the best schools in the UK, many rating Good or Excellent in Ofsted inspections
PPA time is provided for long term supply
Payment to Scale for long term supply
Responsibilities:
Feedback to the regular class teacher
Assisting with lunch or break cover if required
Making sure safeguarding is at the forefront of your mind, and ensuring any concerns about a child or the behaviour of another adult is reported.
Ensuring a high standard of behaviour management.
To support any Teaching Assistants to carry out their duties effectively.
To assist the SLT in ensuring the provision of a warm, accepting environment in which the emotional, social, educational, cultural and spiritual needs of individuals can be met.
To maintain records accurately and methodically as instructed by the Headteacher or laid down in the schools policies and procedures.
To actively contribute towards the maintenance of a positive culture within the school, in which teamwork thrives.
To take responsibility for your own Health and Safety at work, and to report any Health and Safety matters.
To demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.
Requirements:
QTS
DBS Enhanced Disclosure
Minimum of two references (including at least one teaching reference)
A passion for working with local KS2 primary schools to help maintain standards
Play a key role in the children's learning and development
A good knowledge of the KS2 Primary curriculum
Demonstrate effective communication skills, verbal and non-verbal, written, listening and advocacy
Ability to establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
Knowledge of Child Protection procedures relating to young people
Ability to work effectively within a team and encourage a positive team approach
