Primary Supply Teacher (KS1 & KS2)

Job Description:

Manaba is seeking reliable Primary Teachers for long and short term supply bookings in both KS1 and KS2.

We are looking for teachers who are ready to start as soon as possible, looking for flexible bookings and willing to experience different schools in the area through out each term.

Both full time and part time applicants are welcome to apply. Manaba are currently offering £140 a day for ad hoc suppply plus payment to scale offered for long term assingments.

Responsibilities:

• Confident in teaching KS1 or KS2 curriculum.

• Being able to pick up lesson plans and set work from other teachers and continue with it.

• The ideal candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

• Keeping safeguarding at the forefront of your mind, ensuring any concerns are reported.

• To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the schools.

• Taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety at work, and to report any Health and Safety concerns.

• Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

• Good behaviour management skills.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure

• References will be required

• To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

• Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Have the ability to engage all students

• In depth knowledge of the current UK curriculum
